ইব্রাহিম রাইসি

Ebrahim Raisi, born on December 14, 1960, in Mashhad, Iran, was a prominent Iranian principlist politician and Muslim jurist. He served as the eighth President of Iran starting on August 5, 2021, following his election in 2021. Before his presidency, Raisi held the significant position of Chief Justice of Iran from 2019 to 2021. He was a member of the Combatant Clergy Association, reflecting his deep roots in Iranian clerical and political structures. Raisi's life ended on May 19, 2024, at the age of 63, in Dizmar forest, located in Khoda Afarin County, Iran. He was married to Jamileh Alamolhoda since 1983, sharing a long partnership until his passing. Raisi's leadership era was marked by his conservative views and judicial background, influencing his governance approach during a complex period in Iran's history.
