Heatwave: Primary schools to remain closed until Thursday

The government has decided to keep its all primary schools shut until Thursday due to intense heatwave. The schools under the Children Welfare Trust and Learning Centre of the Bureau of Non-Formal Education will also remain closed during the same period.

Chuadanga records season’s highest temperature at 43°C

Jaminur Rahman, in-charge of Chuadanga First Class Weather Observatory, said they recorded 43 degrees Celsius temperature in the district at 3pm.
