Sheikh Rehana receives Covid-19 vaccine

Sheikh Rehana, daughter of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and younger sister of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has received coronavirus vaccine.
She was administered a dose of the vaccine on Wednesday morning, the prime minister's assistant press secretary M M Imrul Kayes confirmed.
Bangladesh on January 27 began coronavirus vaccination programme, and launched the same nationwide on February 7.
So far, as many as 24,91,053 people were vaccinated in the country.
The country, however, recorded 5,44,544 coronavirus cases and 8,379 deaths from the virus till Wednesday since it first reported case on March 8, 2020.
