Over 4000 Skilled IT Professionals Created in a year

BASIS Institute of Technology and Management (BITM) has trained 4,230 in last one year under the Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP).

BITM started its SEIP training programs in March 29 last year.

The training was conducted in 12 IT and 2 regular categories. A total of 4,230 were trained free of cost so far.

BASIS President Shameem Ahsan said, as a part of BASIS’ vision to create 1 million IT professionals within 2018, BITM is implementing the SEIP program. After successful completion of the project, the IT companies will get skilled employee according to their need and more employment opportunities will be created for the IT professionals. And the journey of the ICT sector of the country will be enforced by all these initiatives.

BASIS Treasurer and Director-in-Charge of BITM, Shah Imraul Kaeesh said, BASIS is working towards minimizing the skilled labor shortage prevailing in the industry with the SEIP project.  To achieve the same, BITM will start its activities in all the divisions of the country under this project within 2016.

Following the registration, applicants have to go through proper qualification tests before getting selected.
