Smarter albums support comes to Google Photos
Search engine giant Google has rolled a new update for its Photos app.
The upgrade will suggest a new album and automatically take up the best photos from the recent trip or vacation of the user.
The update will enable the app to recognise the start and end dates of the journey and will then select the best images to create a new album.
The service will also add maps to highlight how far the user has travelled along with the location pins to remind the places visited.
The users will also be able to personalise these albums by adding text captions and even turn on collaboration to enable others to add their photos to it.
Once the album is created, it will add Google Map of the user`s journey as a title card.
Earlier this month, Google introduced new editing tools for its Photos service. Users can now navigate between photos while staying in editing mode.
And while doing this, they will not lose any changes and will be able to revert to the original.
The edits made will be automatically saved, and in case, they want to undo a change - all that is required is just a click on "Revert to Original’.
