Anchor CU to launch website on Oct 6

Anchor CU, a platform of former cadets of Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (Naval Wing) from the University of Chittagong, is going to launch its own website on this October 6 with the aim of keeping bond amongst the former cadets, according to a press release.

On the occasion of website launching website www.anchorcu.com, a ceremonial event will be held at Errante Restaurant of East Nasirabad’s Two No Gate area in Chittagong city on Friday 4pm, said Anchor CU’s Generral Secretary Sontos Kumar Chakma, also an inspector of Police Bureau of Investigation in Chittagong.

BNCC (Naval) CU platoon’s Professor Under Officer (PUO) Dr Towhid hossain Chowdhury, teacher of CU Islamic History and Culture Department, would attend as chief guest in the programme where Anchor CU’s President Mohammad Bourhan Uddin will preside over the programme.

Bourhan Uddin told, “The website will be a platform for the cadets to know the ANCHOR CU well and express their creative pursuit which develops in them originality of thought and perception. The contents of the website reflect the wonderful creativity of thoughts and imagination of cadets.”

Earlier, non-political, socio-voluntary organisation Anchor CU started its journey by forming an 11-member body in 2016 aiming to unity the former cadets even after completing the student life in CU.
