‘Great Online Shopping Festival-2017’ begins Tuesday
“Great Online Shopping Festival-2017” begins in the city tomorrow aiming to provide effective ideas regarding future Digital Bangladesh.
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed will open the three-day festival at Krishibid Institute, Farmgate. Arshinagar Media and Dhaka University Alumni News are jointly organising the event for the first time. ICT Division will extend overall cooperation, said a media release on Monday.
Online-based 60 companies will display their products in the event which will consist of Gaming Zone, Experience Zone, Branding Bangladesh Zone and Cultural Programme.
A number of seminars are also to be held during the festival. Experts from country’s different IT and online-based companies will attend the event.
Nitol-Niloy is the title sponsor of the festival and 71 Television is the media partner.
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed in a message wished all success of The “Great Online Shopping Festival-2017”.
“I am happy to know that Arshinagar Media and Dhaka University Alumni News are organising the event for the first time,” he said, adding the festival is a platform to showcase the country’s progress in online shopping and e-commerce as the path to the future.
He thanked the organisers to arrange such a unique event in Bangladesh and country’s leading online shops and e-commerce will be able showcase their services in the event that will enhance the digital movements of Bangladesh.
