Twitter to show you the `best` tweets first

Twitter`s new algorithm is here - and it`ll change how you see tweets on the social network.

At the moment, most people see a constant stream of updates, in reverse chronological order.

But soon algorithmically selected top tweets will appear at the top of everyone`s timeline.

The feature will slowly be rolled out to everyone, but can be toggled on and off in account settings.

Product marketing manager Eric Farkas said: "Every day, millions of people come to Twitter to discover information about the topics they`re most passionate about - but we know that it can be easy to miss the best tweets from people you follow because there`s so much happening on the platform.
