Robi to collect electricity bills of WZPDCL

Customers of West Zone Power Distribution Company Limited (WZPDCL) in Khulna, Barishal and part of Dhaka division can pay their electricity bills through the mobile phone operator Robi.

To this end, the WZPDCL and Robi have signed an agreement recently, said a press release today.

This partnership will allow WZPDCL customers to pay their electricity bills through their Robi connection or from any RobiCash logo signed agent points.

Under the Robi Utility Bills Pay Service, customers are able to pay their utility bills either through their own Robi connections or through any authorized "RobiCash point" signed agent points.

Agents will complete the bill payment procedure using the most secured USSD technology on behalf of the customers. Both agents and customers will get confirmation SMS for the successful bill payment. Consumers also will get monthly bill notification alert for availing this service.
