Coca-Cola comes up with a ‘Selfie Bottle’
In its latest marketing strategy, Coca-Cola Israel recently came up with an entirely new concept of ‘selfie-bottles’.
As a part of Coca-Cola Isreal’s Summer Love campaign, an advertising agency by the name of Gefen Team designed the bottle.
These bottles sport a camera-equipped base which can be attached to a 500 ml Coke bottle and has an inbuilt sensor.
The sensor activates as soon as the bottle is tilted at 70 degrees to take a sip. End result, users can take a selfie while taking a sip from the bottle.
The unique device also lets users share these selfies on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.
With only 10 such bottles in the market, as of now, the company has no further plans to produce more of such bottles.
The move comes in an effort to make up for the decline in sales of soda across the globe.
