Messi scores hat trick, passes Ronaldo
It was a record-breaking day for Lionel Messi on Tuesday in the Champions League.
The Barcelona superstar scored three goals within the first hour against Celtic bagging his sixth career hat trick to move into first all time on the UCL hat trick list, passing Cristiano Ronaldo.
Messi found the net twice in the first half, the first from a tight angle and the second with magnificent passing. The third came from a sliding shot, stealing a chance from Neymar in the process.
That goal was also Messi’s 36th career hat trick. The Argentine is in mid-season form, and that is bad news for the rest of Europe.
