Messi gets a kiss from his adoring partner

He leads by example when it comes to blasting in the goals at the Nou Camp.

And as he helped Barcelona kick-off their La Ligua title defence in the 2016/17 season, Lionel Messi was rewarded with a pitch invasion from his young family.

Blasting in two of the Catalan’s six goals in Saturday’s game against Real Betis, the 29-year-old forward was rewarded with a kiss from his adoring partner, Antonella Roccuzzo.

Invading the pitch as Barcelona celebrated the huge win over the Seville-based club, the 28-year-old WAG made sure Lionel felt proud of his achievements, reports Daily Mail Online.

Accompanied by their two sons, Thiago, three, and 10-month-old Mateo, Antonella made sure the Argentine forwards achievements were rewarded with love and affection.

Embracing her beau, whom she has been dating since they were both 20, the brunette beauty planted a loving and tender kiss on Lionel.

Clasping Matteo in her arms, the striking Argentine beauty enjoyed a clinch with her long-term love.

Cutting a casual figure in a lacey black vest and skin-tight denim jeans, the brunette beauty certainly ensured her world-famous partner only had eyes for her as the other WAGs ventured out onto the pitch.

And it seems that the couple is encouraging their two sons to follow in their father’s footsteps, with both of the boys wearing Barcelona strips for the match.

Lionel’s triumphant display at home in Barcelona follows news earlier this summer that he is set to appeal against his conviction for tax evasion.

The long-running case relates to a scheme to avoid paying £3.4million of tax on Lionel Messi’s image rights.

The disputed tax payments date back to a period from 2007 to 2009, a time when Argentinian player Messi, now 29, helped to transform Barca into the world’s best team.

He has now, however, been fined £1.7m for three counts of tax fraud while his father has been given a £1.3m fine.

Messi has always denied any knowledge of his tax affairs, saying he concentrated on football, while his father has claimed he left it all up to financial advisers.
