Rubel bailed

Bangladesh cricketer Rubel Hossain got bail from the court in the case filed by Naznin Akter Happy.

Metropolitan Sessions Judge`s Court approved him an anticipatory bail after his bail petition was placed to the court this morning. After this verdict Rubel now can play in the Worldcup Cricket for Bangladesh team.

Before this Rubel, who has been named in the country`s ICC Cricket World Cup squad, was behind bars from Thursday to Saturday after being remanded in custody in a case filed under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act.

19-year-old Naznin Akter Happy lodged a complaint of ‘false promise of marriage’ against the cricketer last month.
