ECB’s security delegation arrives in city

England and Wales Cricket Board’s (ECB’s) security delegation have arrived in Dhaka to hold a series of meetings with local security agencies.

The delegation comprising of security advisor Reg Dickason, Professional Cricketers Association (PCA) chief executive David Leatherdale and ECB`s director of cricket operations John Carr landed at arrived Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Wednesday at around 12 pm.

ECB`s security delegation will have meetings with local security agencies, the UK and Australian high commissions and Bangladesh’s home minister Asaduzzaman Khan, the BCB had said earlier.

The BCB’s media chairman Jalal Yunus said that the board would facilitate meetings with other top officials if the delegation made a request. The visit is likely to extend to three days.
