Faruk takes the helm at BCB

Former Bangladesh national team captain Faruk Ahmed has been appointed as the new president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). 

This decision follows the official resignation of Nazmul Hasan Papon.

The appointment was made during an emergency board meeting at the Ministry of Sports on Wednesday. 

Faruk Ahmed is expected to address the media at 3:00pm today, where he will outline the future roadmap for Bangladesh cricket during a press conference at the BCB office in Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium.
