Argentine midfielder Enzo stands by Bangladeshi protesters

Argentine midfielder Enzo Jeremías Fernández has voiced his support for the student protesters in Bangladesh.

In a Facebook post, Enzo shared a message that read, “To all my Bangladesh followers, I hear you and I also pray for you,” accompanied by a graphic of a young boy covering his face with a red cloth against a backdrop featuring Bangladesh’s national flag.

Bangladesh holds a strong supporter-base of the Argentine football team, a fact that most Argentines do not know.
