BCB announce squad for T20 World Cup

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Tuesday announced the squad for the T20 World Cup, scheduled to begin in USA and West Indies on June 2.

Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu, Chief Selector of the BCB, announced the squad in a press conference held at the conference room of the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka at 1pm on Tuesday. 

Bangladesh will play their first match of the tournament against Sri Lanka on June 8 in Dallas.

Bangladesh squad: Najmul Hossain Shanto (Captain), Taskin Ahmed (Vice Captain), Liton Kumar Das, Soumya Sarkar, Tanzid Hasan, Shakib Al Hasan, Towhid Hridoy, Mahmudullah Riyad, Jaker Ali, Rishad Hossain, Sheikh Mahedi Hasan, Tanvir Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Tanzim Hasan Sakib
