Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka by 4 wickets to clinch ODI series 2-1
Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka by four wickets in the third and final ODI to clinch the series 2-1 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Monday.
Having won the toss, Sri Lanka opted to bat first against Bangladesh, following which they were all out for 235 at the end of 50 overs.
Chasing the target of 236 runs, the hosts managed to register an easy win with a score of 237/6 in just 40.2 overs.
The hosts won the first ODI of the series by six wickets courtesy of Shanto’s unbeaten 122. Sri Lanka fought their way back in the next outing, securing a close three-wicket win thanks to Pathum Nissanka’s composed 114.
