India win toss, opt to bat first against New Zealand

India won the toss and chose to bat first against New Zealand in the first semifinal match of ICC Cricket World Cup at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Wednesday. 

India won all nine of their league stage games including the meeting against New Zealand. The Kiwis on the other hand went on to lose four games in a row after having started the tournament on a winning note but ended the league stage with a big win against Sri Lanka to seal a final four spot.
