De Kock, Markram propel South Africa to 311/7 vs Australia

Fiery century from Quinton de Kock helped South Africa reach 311/7 in 50 overs against Australia in their ODI World Cup 2023 match on Thursday.

Asked to bat first, South Africa started the proceedings on a good note with Temba Bavuma and de Kock stitching a good partnership.

De Kock departed after scoring 109 while Bavuma scored 35. Later, Aiden Markram also scored 55.

For Australia, Mitchell Starc and Glenn Maxwell scalped two wickets each while Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins, and Adam Zampa took one wicket each.
