Plenty of players have taken up the gaming craze but the new Red Devils boss is keen for his players to focus on tactics ahead of matches rather than catching virtual creatures Pokemon Go may have taken the world by storm, but Jose Mourinho is not letting it overtake his Manchester United dressing room.

Plenty of world-class stars have taken up the latest gaming craze including Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.

But Mourinho has reportedly banned his players from playing the game two days before a game so that they can fully focus on the next match.

‘Jose loves having a great relationship with his players and staff, and thinks it’s great for them to chill and relax away from training and games,’ a club source told the Daily Star.

‘He’s still finding his way around Old Trafford and treading carefully.

‘The only thing he has picked up on which he’s told the lads of is his concern about Pokémon.

‘He says for 48 hours before a match he wants the guys to leave it alone and concentrate on the tactics he and his staff have been working on in the days before.’
