Comilla thrash Barishal to go top in points table
Comilla Victorians thrashed Fortune Barishal in the eighth match of Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka on Tuesday.
With this victory, they took the top spot on the points table of the tournament.
Shakib Al Hasan's Barishal were all out for 95 in 17.3 overs to chase a 159-run target as Nahidul Islam bagged three wickets for five.
Earlier, Imrul Kayes-led Comilla Victorians scored 158 runs in stipulated 20 overs with the highest 48 runs from Mahmudul Hasan Joy.
