Crespo, Ronaldinho, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs to play in India

Manchester United legends Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes will feature in the Premier Futsal competition that begins on July 15 and ends on July 24.

Other marquee players in the list are former Barcelona and Brazil international Ronaldinho, former Argentina striker Hernan Crespo and former Spain defender Michel Salgado.

The six team competition will have renowned Futsal name Falcao leading Chennai 5, Giggs in Mumbai 5, Crespo in Kolkata, Scholes in Bengaluru, Salgado in Kochi and Ronaldinho in Goa.

Former Portugal international Deco had initially planned to be part of the league but has pulled out with Falcao coming in.

The matches will be played in Chennai and Goa with the league a conception of Luis Figo and promoted by Virat Kohli.
