IS Beheaded 4 footballer
ISIS militants have beheaded four footballers in Syria after they were accused of spying for Kurdish rebels.
The footballers, who all played for Al-Shabab, were executed in front of a crowd, which included children, in Raqqa.
It comes after the terror group’s religious leaders said supporting football was anti-Islamic.
The identity of the victims was released by campaign group Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently, which also published an extremely graphic picture of their bodies.
It named the men as Osama Abu Kuwait, Ihsan Al Shuwaikh, Nehad Al Hussen and Ahmed Ahawakh and shared team photos with them in.
Organised sports were banned by ISIS two years ago and there have since been a number of high profile attacks on fans.
Just last week 13 teenage boys were executed for watching the Asian Cup football match between Iraq and Jordan.
