Shakib reclaims top spot of ODI allrounders

Bangladesh stalwart Shakib Al Hasan reclaimed the top spot in the ICC ODI allrounder. ICC has updated the ranking after the ODI series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe.

Shakib, the former captain of Bangladesh, is all set to make his comeback to international cricket after his ban came to an end on October 29. The ban was imposed by the ICC as he had failed to report a few corrupt approaches made to him.

The allrounder is currently living in the USA. He, however, will return to Dhaka soon ahead of a five-team T20 league which will take place later November.

Shakib will undergo a fitness test on November 9 along with other 19 cricketers. A total of 113 cricketers have been listed for the fitness test. Those who will pass this test will get the chance to take part in the proposed T20 league.

As Shakib topped the list of the best ODI allrounders with 373 rating points, Mohammad Nabi of Afghanistan is placed right after him with 301 points. The others in the top ten are Chris Woakes (281), Ben Stokes (276), Imad Wasim (271), Colin de Grandhomme (265), Rashid Khan (253), Mitchel Santner (251), Ravindra Jadeja (246), and Sean Williams (238).
