Taskin’s bouncer critically hurts Shuvo

Mohammad Suhrawadi Shuvo, former member of Bangladesh Cricket Team has left field and admitted in hospital after a ball from Taskin Ahmed hit Shuvo in the head on Saturday.

Shuvo, one of the most talented left arms orthodox spin bowler and right-handed batsman, now playing a DPL match for Victoria against Abahani. As Shuvo was up to bat, he was hit by a ‘bouncer’ by Taskin Ahamed, the fastest bowling machine of Bangladesh Cricket team, who was suspended by ICC for illegal bowling action.

Witness said, at the 25th over of the match Shuvo tried to duck a bouncer from Taskin, which wasn’t bounce enough and hit his back part of head, leaving him injured.

After striking from the ball Shuvo laid down on pitch.  Later, Shuvo was taken to Apollo Hospital of the city for better treatment.
