Rangers concede defeat to Challengers

Rangpur Rangers conceded their second defeat in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier Leauge’s special edition - Bangabandhu BPL.

In their second and 7th of the tournament, the Rangers was thrashed by Chattogram Challengers at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Saturday. 

With their respective 50, 43 and 37 runs, CAK Walton, Imrul Kayes and WIA Farnando helped the Challengers to surpass the 157-run target set by the Rangers. 

Mahmudullah's Chattogram won the match by 6 wickets with 10 balls remaining.

For Rangers, Rishad Hossain bagged 2 wickets, and Mohammad Nabi as well as TB Abell took 1 each. 

Earlier, Rangpur Rangers scored 157 runs in stipulated 20 overs losing 8 wickets.

Mohammad Naim's 78 runs propeled the Rangers to place a challenging score before Chattograme Challengers.

For Chattogram Challengers, KOK Williams and RP Burl took 2 wickets each and Rubel Hossain as well as Mahmudullah bagged 1 each.
