Royals get easy win over Platoon

Rajshahi Royals have easily defeated Dhaka Platoon in the 3rd match of the Bangladesh Premier Leauge’s special edition - Bangabandhu BPL.

They won the game by 9 wickets with 10 balls remaining at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

Hazratullah Zazai and Shohaib Malik scored 56 and 36 runs respectively reimaing unbeaten as well as Liton Das 39 to guide Rajshahi Royals to 136.

Mehedi Hasan took the only wicket of the Royals costing 23 runs.  

Earlier, Tamim -Mashrafe's Dhaka Platoon put 134-run target before Andre Russell's Rajshahi Royals. 

Anamul Haque scored highest 38 runs off 33 balls and Jaker Ali, Wahab Riaz as well as Mashrafe Mortaza added 58.

For Rajshahi, Abu Jayed bagged 2 wickets. And Taijul Islam, Farhad Reza, Alok Kapali and RS Bopara took 1 each.
