Jago News beat Daily Manab Zamin 3-0 in Walton-DRU Media Cup football tournament at the National Handball Stadium in the capital on Monday.
Chief Reporter Moniruzzaman Uzzal scored two goals for Jago News and won the man of the match award. Staff Reporter Sayeed Shipon also scored one goal.
Jago News will face Channel i in the second match on Wednesday.
A total of 40 media houses, splitting into eight groups, take part in the tournament.
