U-19 tri-series: Rain forces no-result in Bangladesh-India clash
The match between Bangladesh and India u-19 teams ended with no result on Wednesday at Beckenham due to rain, reports UNB.
However, Bangladesh secured the top place at the points table before the final.
Both teams will meet again in the final on August 11 at Brighton.
England were the other team in the tri-series but were out of the race after losing five of their seven league-stage games.
India won the toss and opted to bat first and amassed 244 all-out in 49.3 overs. Shubhang Hegde was the best batsman for India scoring 69 off 97 while Sameer Rizvi struck 44.
For Bangladesh, Shoriful Islam, Avishek Das and Shamim Hossain took three wickets each.
In reply, Bangladesh batted for only 5.5 overs before rain spoiled the match. Bangladesh were at 19/2 at that time.
Bangladesh won four of their eight league-stage games while two ended without any results. They lost one game and another was tied.
India, on the other hand, won three of their seven league-stage games. They will play their last game against England before meeting Bangladesh in the final again.
