Bangladesh squad announced for ICC World Cup 2019
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has finally announced Bangladesh’s World Cup Squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, which is slated to start in England on May 30.
The Chief Selector of the BCB Minhajul Abedin Nannu on Tuesday announced the squad at the conference hall of Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
Abu Jayed Rahi came as the only surprise of the World Cup squad. The right-arm pacer never played an ODI. Mosaddek Hossain has also been included in the team.
Bangladesh squad: Mashrafe Mortaza (capt), Liton Das, Mohammad Mithun, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Mahmudullah, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Mohammad Saifuddin, Abu Jayed, Mustafizur Rahman, Rubel Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Sabbir Rahman, Mosaddek Hossain.
