Shakib, Narine rule Vikings

Dhaka Dynamites all-rounder Shakib-Al-Hasan and off-spinner Sunil Narine have ruled Chittagong Vikings in the eliminator in Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Monday.

Batting first, the Vikings posted a par total of 135 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their stipulated 20 overs.

Mosaddek Hossen Saikat was the highest scorer (40 off 35 balls) for the Vikings while Cameron Delport made a 27-ball 36 runs.

The Caribbean spinner Narine bagged 4 wickets for 15 runs in his quota of four overs while Shakib didn’t took any wicket, but his economy rate was impressive. He bowled four overs conceding only 11 runs.

Besides Kazi Anik and Rubel Hossen picked up one wickets apiece.
