Bangladesh spank Maldives 9-0, secure semi-final berth

Bangladesh U-15 male football team spanked the Maldives by 9-0 goals on their journey to secure the semi-final spot.
They secured semi-final spot with the help of forward Nishat Zaman hat-trick at the Kathmandu’s Anfa Complex in Nepal on Saturday.
In the day’s match, Nihat Jaman Ucchash scored four goals in the 11th, 19th, 23rd and 46th minutes while Russel Ahmed and Asikur Rahman scored a brace each in the 47th and 66th, and 80th and 90+5th minutes respectively.
Besides, Mehedi Hassan scored a lone goal in the 44th minute for Bangladesh.
Bangladesh will play against Nepal on October 29 to determine the group winner at the same venue.
