Bangladesh A beat Ireland A in 1st unofficial T20
Bangladesh A have started the T20 series against host Ireland A with a 4-wickets victory in the first unofficial T20 of the three-match series held on Monday at Dublin.
Bangladesh A lead the 3-match series 1-0, BSS reported.
Batting first, Ireland A were all out for 152 in 20 overs. Saifuddin, Shariful and Taijul all bagged two wickets each.
In reply Bangladesh A chased down the target easily making 155 in 18 overs with 4 wickets in hand.
Thanks to skipper Soumya Sarkar for his magnificent knock of 57. Shanto scored 38 while Afif remained not out on 35.
McBrinie picked up three Bangladesh’s wickets for 23.
The second match between the two sides will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) at the same venue.
