Windies invite Tigers to bat first
West Indies captain Jason Holder chose to field first against Bangladesh in the first Test in Antigua. There's a bit of grass on the wicket, with a hint of moisture too, which may have prompted Holder to make the decision.
The home side will go with the same team that played in their last Test against Sri Lanka, with Shimron Hetmyer and Keemo Paul on the bench, reports ESPNcricinfo.
Bangladesh have not picked Imrul Kayes, instead opting for Nurul Hasan who last played a Test in January 2017 and is likely to keep wicket ahead of Liton Das and Mushfiqur Rahim.
Liton is slated as the opener with Tamim Iqbal, while the visitors have opted for three seamers - Rubel Hossain, Kamrul Islam (also playing after more than a year) and the Test debutant Abu Jayed.
