MSC, Ajax, post win in premier hockey

Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited and Ajax Sporting Club won their respective matches of the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League held on Saturday at Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium.

In the second day's match, title aspirants Mohammedan walked to their eleventh straight win as they blanked Bangladesh Sporting Club by 3-0 goals with all three scored by Russell Mahmud.

Rasel Mahmood Jimmy was the architect behind Mohammedan’s victory as he slotted a hattrick scoring in the 10th, 16th and 18th minutes.

In the day's other match, Ajax Sporting Club defeated Sadharan Bima by 5-3 goals.

In the day's match, Indian recruit Laxmipar Singh scored a brace converting both the penalty corners in the 34th and 59th minutes while Imtiaz Rubel, Gurpreet Singh and Hansraj netted one goal each for Ajax in the 24th, 36th and 48th minutes respectively.

While Bima’s Indian recruit Jogi Singh, Faisal Hossain and Zahid Bin Talib netted one goal apiece for Bima in the 13th, 57th and 61st minutes.
