Saif SC appoint British coach Stewart Hall
New football power house Saif Sporting Club showed their intentions to put up a strong challenge in the local football arena as they brought British coach Stewart Hall to prepare their youthful side for next season's Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The much awaited BPL is supposed to get commence after September's SAFF Championship, reports BSS.
The 59-year-old coach, who has experience of working in India and different academies of Africa and Europe, was introduced before the media at the club's head office in Mohakhali yesterday.
Hall was offered one-year contract from Tuesday. We have formed a youthful side for the next season and there is a lot of work to be done which the coach will do," said the club's managing director Nasiruddin Chowdhury.
"I have built Pune FC and took them to the I-League. I have also worked with a lightweight club of Tanzania and helped them win a trophy, said Hall.
