Tigers set 167-run target for Sri Lanka
Bangladesh have set a target of 167 for Sri Lanka to chase in the Final match of the Nidahas Tri-Nation Trophy 2018 at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on Sunday.
Sabbir's 77 guided Bangladesh to score 166 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs.
Earlier, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and asked Bangladesh to bat first.
The Tigers kept its squad unchanged from their previous match while India made one change as they brought Jaydev Unadkat in place of Mohammed Siraj.
Bangladesh never won a tri-series tournament.
This will be their fifth appearance in a tri-nation tournament final across all formats.
The Tigers pulled off a thrilling two-wicket victory over hosts Sri Lanka in the last league match on Friday to secure their final berth.
India, on the other hand, won three matches in a row to make their way to final as the top-side.
Bangladesh were yet to defeat India in Twenty20 internationals in seven meetings.
