Pybus to be appointed as Tigers’ coach

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is going to appoint Richard Pybus as the new head coach for Tigers soon.

Pybas may take the charge of Bangladesh National Cricket team after Nidahas trouphy, according to a reliable source of BCB.

BCB has realized the absence of a coach after the performance of recently concluded tri-nation tournament and Sri Lanka’s Test and T20 series.

At that time, BCB president Nazmul Hassan Papon said that coach for the national team will be appointed soon.

Therefore, BCB has completed all out preparations to announce his name as the new head coach for the tigers, it is learnt.

In 2012, England-born Pybus was appointed as the coach for Bangladesh national team for a two year deal. But, he stepped down after five months of taking charge.

Pybus has twice been in charge of Pakistan, at the 1999 World Cup, before taking up the position again in 2003.
