Shakib sold for Rs 2 crore to Sunrisers Hyderabad

Bangladesh cricket superstar Shakib Al Hasan has been sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 2 crore. Shakib has played all his IPL cricket for Kolkata Knight Riders.
Shakib came into IPL auction at a base price of Rs 1 crore. This was an exceptional move from Shakib as anything more than that could have backfired for him.
He has scored 493 runs in 43 games he has played in the Indian Premier League, 2018. His average is 21.65 and strike rate 130.36, scoring 2 fifities overall. Also, he has taken 43 wickets in his IPL career.
With Shakib in the team, SRH will benefit a lot from his experience. It will be interesting to see how they Shakib knowing that they have been very good with use of international players in the past.
