Bangladesh cricket superstar Tamim Iqbal on Tuesday became first Bangladeshi batsman to reach 6000 ODI runs in the 5th match of the Tri-nation series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur.

He is currently the highest run-scorer for Bangladesh in international cricket, including Test matches, ODIs and T20 internationals.

Considered as the best ever opening batsman for Bangladesh, Tamim has set up centuries in all three formats of the game and is also the first Bangladeshi to score 11,000 international runs.
