Pakistan Beats Bangladesh by 55 Runs
Pakistan started their World T20 campaign on a high by defeating Bangladesh by 55 runs in Kolkata on Wednesday.
Pakistan won the toss, opted to bat first and set 202-run target for the Tigers.
Pakistan bowler Mohammad Amir got Mushfiqur Rahim for 18 runs. Amir also picked up Soumya Sarkar for a two-ball duck.
Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi got two quick wickets. He sent back Sabbir Rahman for 25 runs and Tamim Iqbal for 24 runs. Wasim picked up Mahmudullah.
Bangladesh headed into the second round of the tournament backed by wins against the Netherlands and Oman.
