Victorians crush Vikings by 8 wickets

Comilla Victorians took an eight wicket victory against Chittagong Vikings during their second match in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2017 at Sylhet National Cricket Stadium Tuesday.

Batting first, Vikings collected a modest 143 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their stipulated 20 overs.

Right-handed opening batsman Luke Ronchi scored 40 off 21, featuring 4 fours and 3 sixes while Soumya made 38 off 33.

In reply, Comilla Victorians reached their destination in 17.2 overs, losing openers Butler and Liton.

Butler and Liton gave a solid start to the Victorinas. The duo made 43 runs stand.

Liton scored 23 off 14 while Buttler made 48 off 42.

After that, Imrul and Samuels guided their side to the victory.

Saifuddin earned the man of the match award while Marlon Samuels was awarded as the exciting player of the match for his cameo.
