Sylhet exhibit magnificent performance in BPL 5 opener, beat Dhaka by 9 wickets

Sylhet Sixers exhibited a magnificent performance during their first match in the fifth edition of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) in Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

Batting first, defending champion Dhaka Dynamites collected a modest 136 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their stipulated 20 overs.

Left- hander Sangakkara made highest score for Sylhet, scoring 32 runs while all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan made 23 runs.

Sylhet Sixers’ skipper Nasir claimed 2/24 from four overs.

In reply, Sylhet reached their destination magnificently, losing only one wicket.

Tharanga made unbeaten 69 off 48 while Fletcher managed 51 off 63.
