Bangladesh beat Maldives 1-0 in AFC U-19 qualifiers

Bangladesh registered an important solitary goal win over Maldives in their second group B match of the AFC U-19 Championship 2018 Qualifiers held today (Thursday) at the Hisor Central Stadium in Dushanbe.

After the barren first half, Mahbubur Rahman scored the decisive goal for the winning side in the dying minutes of the match, reports BSS.

With the day's victory, Bangladesh secured four points after they drew goalless draw with host Tajikistan in their opening match of the fixture.

Bangladesh will play their third group match against Uzbekistan on Monday (November 6) and meet Sri Lanka in their last group match on November 8.
