Argentina announce squad for Russia friendly, 8 stars omitted
Argentina have announced their squad for their upcoming friendly against Russia, and eight big stars have been left off the list.
Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain has once again been left out of the squad, after his struggles in Serie A this season.
Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has returned from injury and has been included in the squad, while Manchester United's Marcos Rojo misses out through injury.
Jorge Sampoali's charges will face Russia on 10 November, while another friendly is expected to be announced soon.

Goalkeepers: Romero, Guzman, Marchesin.
Defenders: Marchesin, Fazio, Mercado, Otamendi, Pezzella; Salvio.
Midfielders: Biglia, Banega, Acuna, Paredes, Emiliano Rigoni, Kranevitter, Papu, Perotti.
Forwards: Messi, Aguero, Icardi, Di Maria, Dybala.
