Bangladesh lost two wickets without a run in the very first over of their second innings as they chase 424 against South Africa on the fourth day of the opening Test at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom on Sunday.

Imrul Kayes and Mushfiqur Rahim tried to stay on the crease but couldn’t stretch their stand to a half century just for one run as Imrul went out.

Earlier, Fifties from Faf du Plessis and Temba Bavuma set up South Africa’s declaration on 247 for 6. Du Plessis was part of a fourth-wicket partnership of 142 runs with Bavuma, which came at a run-rate of nearly five.
