Jago News beat Samakal to reach semi-final

Country’s leading news portal Jagonews24.com reached the semi-final after thrashing Samakal 1-0 in Kool-BSJA Media Cup football tournament at the Artificial Turf of Bangladesh Football Federation in Motijheel on Thursday.

Shafiq Kalim scored one goal for Jago News and won the man of the match award.

The semi-final and the final match will be played on the same day on Friday.

A total of 24 media houses, splitting into eight groups, are taking part in the six-a-side tournament.
