Asia Cup squad announced
Bangladesh Cricket Board announced the Asia Cup T20 squad at a press conference at the SBNCS Media Center on Sunday.
Dashing opener Tamim Iqbal is not playing in the Asia Cup as he has to pass his time with his expectant wife during the tournament. That’s why he is out of the squad.
The Asia Cup 2016 will start from February 19 while Bangladesh plays their first match of the tournament on February 24 against India.
15-man squad: Mashrafe Bin Mortaza (captain), Imrul Kayes, Soumya Sarker, Md Mithun, Mahmud Ullah, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Shabbir Rahaman, Nasir Hossain, Arafat Sunny, Mustafizur Rahman, Al–Amin Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, and Abu Hider Roni.
