Tigers secure third place in WC U-19

Junior Tigers of Bangladesh team secured third place in ICC World Cup under 19 by defeating Sri Lanka by three wickets.

The cricket match started at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Narayanganj on Saturday.

Sri Lanka set a 215 runs target for the young tigers, losing all wickets in 48.5 over’s.

In reply, the Tigers scored 218 runs losing even wickets in 49.3 over’s.

Bangladesh skipper Mehedi Hasan Miraz bagged 3 wickets for 28 runs. Mohammad Saifuddin and Abdul Halim took two wickets each.
